Baby Steps: My First Vegan Eyeliner

On my way towards a clean vanity

Hello there,

When I was in Monza, I stopped by the Kiko Milano store in the center of town because they were having an amazing sale on their mascaras. I, unexpectedly, ended up also purchasing their vegan eyeliner.

I don't normally invest in makeup, because I prefer to keep my face natural and bare. The only products I use and purchase are mascare, eyeliner, blush, and lipstick/lip gloss. Thus, my cosmetic vanity is not very large, however, I am now highly motivated and encouraged to purchase cruelty-free, vegan products.

To make it clear, vegan makeup refers to cosmetic products that are cruelty-free and do not test on animals. Additionally, no animal derived ingredients (such as, honey or goat's milk) is used to make the product. If you are interested in reading more about vegan makeup, please click here.

TIP: If you are ever in Milano, go to the Kiko Duomo di Milano location and they will monogram the products you purchase complimentary.

I look forward to purchasing more vegan products in the future and I'd love to hear about any vegan brands you currently support.

Love always and forever,

Vale
