Back to School: Fundamentals of my Desk Sanctuary

Details on my study desk

Hey there,

It's incredible to believe that tomorrow classes officially start and we will be embarking on another year long journey of university classes and work. Time flies haha!

Ever since I arrived back home from Milano, I was determined to select an area in my room that would serve as my productivity area and low key sanctuary. No surprise, my study desk ended up fulfilling this role and I had lots of fun decorating this part of my room.

My desk is located right next to the door, which leads to my balcony. This is an important feature because lots of light sheds in and I am able to let fresh air inside. As per usual, I wanted to keep my desk very minimalistic and stick to a simple color scheme of all white.

The only items that are permanently on my desk are: my desk calendar, laptop, flowers, diffuser, pen and highlighter cup, and my Google Home. Here are some quick tips and tricks to creating your at home office space:

  1. Find an ideal location

  2. Select a color scheme and decide on your must have items

  3. Organize the space in a way that works for you

I hope this helps and I wish you all a great start to the new academic year!

Love always and forever,
