The Center for Communication is a NYC based institution focusing on promoting academic and employment opportunities to young talent in fields, such as, media, journalism, film, and entertainment. The Center for Communication is also well-known for supporting diversity across all industries and they assist minority groups through the many events and engagement opportunities that they host throughout the year.
The Center for Communication hosted an event called "Women + Media Career Summit" in collaboration with the New York Stock Exchange and CBS (among other multinational companies, like, HBO, Warner Media, and Discovery Entertainment). The event took place at one of the NYSE's headquarters on Wall Street and was lead by a variety of successful women who work within the above mentioned fields.

Tina Perry
As of January 2019, Tina Perry has held the title of being President of the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) and works alongside OWN's Chairman and CEO, Oprah Winfrey. Perry holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, a Master of Science in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford and graduated with Honors from Stanford University (Discovery Entertainment).
Stemming from a legal career background (specifically within the sectors of business and corporate law with an emphasis on negotiation), Perry shares her experience within the sectors of academia, law, and now being President of OWN.
