Glimmer & shine on the Brooklyn Bridge

Shine on Hey there, This is a throwback post to that time when Rashad and I were freezing just to take these shots! It was springtime in NYC and still very very cold. We worked through the pain and ended up getting some classic nighttime photos on the Brooklyn Bridge. To see more, click here. On a separate note, I discovered this lovely shiny mini dress with a coral base and multi-color glimmer. I paired these with my brown knee high boots. Let me know what you think of this

    Let's Dance in Slow Motion

Midnight memories from the Brooklyn Bridge Hey darlings, I've been missing NYC lately since I've been away due to my initial study abroad plans and now COVID-19. Not really sure when I will feel safe to go back, but I will keep you posted. For now, though, I wanted to share with you these lovely photos Rashad and I took on the Brooklyn Bridge a little over a year ago. Such a nice memory!! Love always and forever, Vale All photos taken by: Rashad Heagle #photography #fashionph

Reflecting on 2019 and Prepping for 2020 with my Tiffany & Co Agenda

New Year, New Agenda! Hey angels! Happy New Year's Eve and cheers to an amazing past decade! I hope you have been enjoying the last few days of 2019 and are getting excited for 2020. This past decade I experienced a lot as I started the decade being 10 years old (in 5th grade) and am now ending it being 19 (a sophomore in undergrad). So, as you can see, I went through middle school, high school, and a little bit of college all in one decade.....it's definitely been a rollerco

'Tis the season! DAY 12: Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting New York City is one of the most desirable tourist destinations during the holiday season. Dorm Tour: Sophomore Year (Fall 2019)

Rose vines, brick walls & Greenwich Village views This past fall semester, I had such a fun time staying at another dormitory offered by The New School. Tbh, this experience was much better than my freshman year experience and I couldn't wait to share it with you all! This particular dormitory was located in such an ideal location: on 11th street right in between 5th Ave and University Place. The building was situated just a few blocks away from Washington Square Park and Uni

Why Fall in the City is so Special

For a summer baby like me who grew up in Miami and never truly experienced fall before, I definitely appreciate the seasonal festivities now that I live in Manhattan. Truly, the whole vibe of the city changes from the food to the clothes to the activities. It's quite funny because while living in Miami and the Caribbean you don't truly feel a change in seasonal activities until Christmas time hits. With that, I recommend visiting NYC anytime during late September-late Novembe

    Halloween 2019

Coming from the Caribs, Mrs. Sparrow set sail along the NY harbor... Originally, I planned on being Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place. I grew up on that show and I am now (crazy to say) living just a few blocks north from Waverly Place! So, I thought it was the perfect idea. The only probs was that Alex didn't dress up as a typical wizard and I was also on a budget. I ended up brainstorming some other options and came across this amazing deal at Party City. This dress

    Summer 2019 Playlist

Ngl, summer 2019 was definitely more of a "working" summer for me, as opposed to a "fun/travel" summer. Of course, I got to do lots of summer activities around the NYC area and hang out with friends, but, for the most part, my jobs this summer certainly took over my life. I am thankful because I learned so much and I can know officially say that I spent two full summers (so far) in NYC!! As many of us can relate, music always has it's way of amplifying an experience, and I ju

7 Reasons to Love Valentine's Day

LIVE LOVE AND LAUGH, ALWAYS To be a "lover", in my opinion, means to simply be human. We all define the term "love" in our own ways as we journey through life. Though, in the past, many people associate Valentine's Day with being a day dedicated to celebrating romantic relationships, I am a supporter of having Valentine's Day be an extra reminder that universal love should always be celebrated. Universal love is the kind that can be defined and experienced by all types of ear
